Mike , you are correct dad bought it in 1979 still races it in IHRA (won world championship 1983) & NHRA ,not the oldest race car but still has the same paint job on it from HOLBROOK.
Dad does have 1968 notchback 428cj car that he got in 1970 that has been raced every year ,started in stock went to formula stock then modified now back to super stock ..

also Blair Patricks car was the Dorsey Gray Ford car that the Dunahoo's bought from Jim Morgan

I know Truman bought his 68 Firebird new after coming back from Vietnam, and his brother both at the same time. Still races it today in stock class. He has raced in SS and Modified too. It was 1967 or 1968.

Ray Paquet is in there too, I will check out the dates and relay later.

thanks DM Jr. I couldnt remember where Blair's car came from. I knew it came from Marvin, but now I do remember it came from Jim Morgan originally. Sorry for the misinformation. dad says hi
