Default Re: Internet rumors-what happens if IHRA folds?

IHRA is suppose to come out with there schedule next week. I got an email from D4 Director Frank K. I found this. Bad deal having the State Capitol race same weekend as NHRA D4 race in Houston. Most will run Houston.

Officially, the first two events on next year’s schedule have already been announced as Nitro Jam returns to Palm Beach International Raceway the weekend of January 28-29 followed by a stop at State Capitol Raceway the weekend of March 5-6. The remaining dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Nitro Jam officials will also be announcing the full lineup for 2011 which will include a total of five nitro classes and a brand new main event – a 20,000 horsepower jet truck vs. Grave Digger!

Check back with the new NitroJam.com for updates and complete details regarding the biggest season of Nitro Jam to date!

From the looks of their scheduling and program it doesn't look like they'll be lowering
the circus tent in the near futue.
You have to wonder what this guy Feld was thinking when he bought IHRA.He must have
inhaled to much elephant poop fumes.

Thumbs down Re: Internet rumors-what happens if IHRA folds?

What diff does it make what kind of pro show is going on as long as you have somewhere to race. The pro show is exactly that and you still have the sportsman race that is still in effect as always has been. Now if you don't show to race because of the type of pro show that is going on then ,you must not want to race in the first place. just my opinion..........
