I have just been notified that the cancer took ronnie from us this morning at 9:35 am. As many have already said ronnie had abig heart and was a generous man. I got to know him personally after he bought state capitol racetrack, and being the rfc track chaplain there i had a lot of contact with ronnie and witnessed his generosity first hand. Ronnie and i had a lot of things in common, the love of drag racing and both of us being law enforcement professionals were among many that enabled me to see and know the true ronnie west. He truly did have a big heart and will be missed by many. Please continue to pray for his family. God bless my fellow racers chaplain craft.
