I fully expect to see the Injustice Dept. under Eric Holder run over Zimmerman like a steam roller, whether or not the state is able to get any sort of a conviction.

It is painfully obvious, to anyone thinking clearly, and paying attention, that Trayvon Martin attacked George Zimmerman, and was slamming his head onto the ground or onto concrete. Trayvon Martin made the choice to attack George Zimmerman. No one made him. When you make a choice to violently assault someone, you run the risk that they will produce a weapon and kill you. To quote Obama, "he acted stupidly".

All the rest is just B.S. and window dressing. It's obvious Zimmerman didn't have his gun out and confront Martin. If Zimmerman had his gun out, does anyone, with any sense at all, think Zimmerman would have allowed Martin to break and bloody his nose, black his eyes, and bash his head on the ground until his scalp split, and only then decided to shoot Martin with a gun he already had out? Seriously?

Yeah, a teenager is dead, it's a shame. But he's dead because he made a choice to attack someone. Even if Zimmerman confronted Martin, there was still no valid reason for Martin to jump Zimmerman and try to beat him to death. None. Do you attempt to physically assault every person who rubs you the wrong way? If you do, be prepared for one of them to kill you.

As a wise man once said, when seconds count, the police are minutes away.

They had several break ins in that complex. As I said, people are sick of being crime victims. Honest citizens have reached the point where they're simply no longer going to be run over by criminals. There is no reason any honest law abiding citizen should have to put up with criminals, or be defenseless.

I can't tell you what Zimmerman had on his mind, but every report from everyone in his complex said that he was honestly and genuinely concerned with crime. Again, according to previous reports, there had been break ins in that complex, at least one happened when a female victim was in her home alone. The perpetrators had repeatedly escaped capture and prosecution. Zimmerman's wife regularly stayed home alone. I can easily see where he would be extremely concerned. I know I would be, since my daughter stays home by herself.

Martin's death is a very sad thing. But it took two people to create that confrontation. Giving Martin a complete pass because he was a black teenager while attempting to crucify Zimmerman is simply ludicrous.

Alan, I never said anything about anyone's 2nd Amendment rights. I am from Arizona, we carried handgun, have ammo in our vehicles, rifles up in our rear windows of our truck, we have self-defense and range laws. I have just never had the need to carry a weapon. My previous life, I carried a weapon, I have weapons and always have in my home for hunting and home protection.

If the need to arm Neighborhood Watch becomes necessary than it is time to hire more police.

My wife is alone during the week, the house has an alarm, I have two big dogs and she is qualified to fire any weapon in the house, and we have a Neighborhood Watch. I feel safe that she is safe!

I have never felt defenseless or intimidated by anyone. Maybe that is a false sense of self-confidence but at 6'4" and 240 lbs, I am not easily intimidated.

I am going to say this one more time, Zimmerman is the only on that knows the truth. If he had an agenda shame on him, justice needs to be served.

As Alan wrote earlier, when seconds count, the police are minutes away. Your neighbor is next door.

Not having anything to do with neighborhood watch, but relevant to police response time and 911 dispatch instructions, a Denver area 911 dispatcher was fired last week. A citizen called 911 to report a road rage incident. The dispatcher instructed the caller to return to the scene of the incident to wait for police. He did. So did the instigator of the incident. That's when and where the caller was shot to death.

The police perform very important services every day, but they can't be everywhere all of the time.

"One of my favorite rants...the liberal controlled media...television news...newspapers...magazines...radio...all continue to show 12 year old Trayvon...NOT 17 year old Trayvon...they continue to show the 5 year old picture BECAUSE it helps to cement in your mind the little, cute, hoodie wearing youngster who was stalked by this monster.In reality.."little Trayvon"...at the time of his death...stood almost 6'2" tall...weighed 175 muscular pounds...had numerous run ins with authorities (both at school and local police)...

had been stopped and almost arrested two days before his death for...smacking a bus driver in the face...because the driver refused to let him ride for free... he was released because the driver was told not to press charges by the bus company and to continue on his route.When "little Trayvon" was suspended at school...it was not only because he tried to bring a little marijuana in with him...he was in possession of wedding rings and other jewelry...watches etc. that he said he "found" along with a large screwdriver...while on the way to school that day...the jewelry was turned over to the Police by the school.I am not trying to say this was a good shooting...I am not trying to say this kid deserved to die...I am saying...the media in the USA is controlled by liberals who twist and distort what you see and hear in order for you to see things their way.Not a single paper has printed RECENT photos of this kid...because...it would not keep your interest in this case...Not a single paper will admit that this kid was a marijuana dealer...his friends on facebook all say he had the "best plants"...Not a single paper will show you any of his recent photos where he shows off a mouthful of gold teeth....all of his tattoos...

Not a single paper will tell the news like it really is....and NOT how they want you to think it is..."

Let me just say..If I had a son I WOULD NOT want him to look just like Trayvon Martin.
