Hi Norm. I'd say four hours or so, give or take. The track is roughly an hour from Breezewood PA (from B-wood, 23 miles to MD line, 32 miles to track exit for US 40 east). It's 3 1/2-4 hours for me, living near New Castle PA, so probably 4, maybe a little more from Quaker City.

Just a few other notes about the race, especially for thos who are first-timers to this, or any of my, races
~bye runs DO NOT have to be made. No taking the Tree or anything. You may remain in the lanes (if in round-robin late rounds) or return to the pits. ~tech is on the right-side of the track, looking down the track. You'll see the Tech Building in the second row, running parallel to the staging lanes. ~racers who lose early in the S/SS races may continue to make test and tune runs, if the track is still doing them. ~payouts each day will be at the timeslip booth. Coming back up the return road, back near the starting line. My mom will be there each day. Anything else you need to know, let me know. Only sixteen days away!

Also, a not about Sunday payouts: if the race goes seven rounds (not farfetched--we had 63 cars for first round last year; 72 total for the weekend), sixth round loser will get $600.
68 cars for first round 2nd round - $50 3rd round - 100 4th round - 200 5h round - 400 6th round - 600 Runner-up - 800 Winner - $2,000 80 cars, with the same round money, pays $2,400 Win, and 1,200 R/U. The more cars we get, the better the payouts will be.

Pro Stick, from Eric Kitchen:
Pay $45 at the gate to run with us, then sign up with me and no extra cost. The races are usually 6 rounds, round 2 loser $20, round 3 loser $50, round 4 loser $100, semi loser $250, runner-up $500, winner $1,000. 2 time run sessions, first round is random, then we hold our meeting and make up a ladder for the remaining rounds.
