Isn't the whole purpose of a racing seat to keep you from moving laterally in a crash, and the belts to keep you in that seat? I would expect the threaded inserts to pull right out of the plastic in a crash. Then you're relying on the belts to keep you AND the seat in place also... I had a pair of these in my ElCamino when it was a mid 11 second street/strip car. Feel much safer with the stock bench in it and my Chevelle than those plastic seats! |
