Easy there, no need for the name calling. As usual? Please educate me if you think I don't know what I'm talking about. Obviously the 2.3L blower won't make as much as the 2.9L, but Fezell has been 8.50 (yes at a much lighter weight), quicker than any Coyote has been so far. I think "no where close" is a pretty big exaggeration.

Also, since the FS classes are now weight/hp based, will he not have a 38 hp x 6 lb/hp = 8 lb break against the 2014s?

Just asking so don't go off on me. Can say a 2008 put a 2014 engine in and just change the front and back a be a 2014? I saw where SAM swapped out the front and back to make a newer model with their Copo.

08 auto/Stick 505/498
13 auto/stick 531/500
14 auto/stick 543/525

The 13 coyote(5.0/2.9) makes 100-150hp more then the 5.4/2.3 in the 08. The 2014 uses a smaller blower pulley. The 5.0 has more RPM capability which is where the Ford Modular engines make their power. The 13 stick has about 2tenths advantage over the 08 stick. The 13 auto has a tenth advantage. The stick combinations in the 13/14 will start getting HP bumps though once some of them are built.

When I spoke to Don at the Dutch Classic, he told me that he is nowhere close to a Coyote.
