The rains have come and it looks like we will be done for the day. The rain has let up and is very light now so who knows. Stock and Super Stock got 2 runs in. Super Gas were in the lanes when the rain started. Will we keep you posted. Tex Miller set the E/SA record at a 10.62 and Lincoln Moorehead set the SS/JA at 9.68 I believe.

I was able to catch Gary Richard in his 2010 Cobra Jet Stocker on his time shot today. Tomorrow we get on time shot and then we go into class, then the CIC race. Super classes get on time shot and then they run the quick. Weather looks good for the first part of the day.

Good morning members and guests - Today sure is starting off terrific with sunshine and blue skies but a bit chilly at 55 degrees .Later this afternoon all that will change as storms are expected so we'll get in as much as we can before they hit.
Starting off at 9:30 will be Stock .For those who are interested National Records can still be set today so if you have it - show it !!! Also later on we'll have class elims and if the storms hold off long enough a CIC race .Below are some pics from yesterday -not sure which was worse - the rain or the pollen . Back a little later............

Both Stock and S/S got their hit in this morning and it was expected - a bit slower .After the other classes get their track time we'll move on to class elims ....... But the Sun is still shining and the temp is near eighty already .

We are just about done with today activities. Class for Stock and Super Stock are mostly done except for a few finals. The CIC race and quick 8 will run very soon if the rain stays away. It looks as if the rain is about an hour or so away.
It was a warm day, but the track was in good shape except for the pollen, which is everywhere. Photos of the day.... |
