The capable people at VMP this weekend were too busy doing every thing else involved in putting on the race to tear down anything. But you're right, it should be mandatory, it affects too many other people to let slide.

At points meets it should be the head tech officials job to teardown and national events every time I ride by the tech trailer there’s alway 2-3 officials standing under the semi truck awning doing nothing. Especially on Thursday’s and fridays of national events.

I can only speak on behalf of the Marlow '69 camaro which added hp last week. Butch was driving it this week and they did pull him over after round 1 to check the carb and look at numbers on the intake and head.
It was probably a week late, but that did happen for the interest in fair reporting. Only the carb was taken off the car.

J Allen was 150 heavy on that run. He can go as fast as he wants. In the lanes he told me the haters were starting already. He said “I’m in the business of selling racing engines”. Exactly! I told him the only people hating are the ones that can’t go that fast. So you have two choices. Go figure out why yours won’t go that fast or call Allen.
