Pure Stock to Stock
Limited time to work on car. Got hit by another car in the wagon!. Two lane left turn and driving the outside lane. As usual take it wide of the divider heading perfect straight entrance into my lane just like towing the trailer. Then a kid speeding in the inside hits me as I enter my lane. My neck still hurts. He hit me hard enough to drive me close to the curb through the bike lane.
Before this was racing at Atco East Coast S/SS Meet. Ran a 12.74 on brakes on a 12.85 dial at Losing round 1 in spite cutting a great light. Didn’t expect running so quick. Ran a 12.85 Q1 then 12.81 Q2 running a little cooler. DA rose so cooled car to 88 degrees and kept it cool and battery charged figuring 12.85 was good enough. Few more changes and should be able to run close enough to the 12.65 index in hot weather in Pure Stock Configuration. Have to finish all the changes to see if I can match Corbett Marshburns performance with his Impala SS. Then put the Stocker cam in to compete with the Campolito’s. This weekend was August Cup Soccer Tournament and ran 3 games Saturday and Sunday. Been working out daily since April. Still though better after two weeks the neck is still tender. Took little more than a couple weeks to heal. Wagon at body shop and found new door. Getting a few rust spots taken care of while at it. Upgrading with 3.73 and a Hughes Towing Converter. This will do until for now. Need to replace the wagon eventually. There are a lot of tow vehicles to chose from. Plus all the truck makers are upping their game! Makes for interesting reading. Most innovative is the 1/2 ton Ram 1500 with Etorque! Peace |

Pure Stock to Stock
After the car accident caught the Flu..
The bad one that was out there. Despite taking the Flu Vaccine this year. Entering the 4th week and still have lingering coughs. Lost 12 lbs permanently. Feeling better and managed to attend my Son Wedding at Lake Tahoe. What a wonderful setting...much of my time was spent sleeping. Still get sleepy and need rest. This one kicked my butt !
