I have 2 sets of the DA heads. They must have made both the DA and the DC,but the DA is the only one listed.

I recall the prior notice NHRA released:
"The NHRA Technical Department recently added C5AF- BU & BT to the blueprint specifications for the 1967 Ford 427/425 and corrected a typo for the 1977 Ford 302 122-137 cylinder head and intake casting, D7OE-DC change to D7OE-DA, D7OE-AA change to D7OE-AC." |

I like the idea that everyone here has a shot at the barn. If you qualify for Indy you have a fast car period!!! Just because your not in the top 25 doesn't mean your car will pass tec. If that was the case why not build a car that will go one under here and always qualify and never have to worry about tear down.
Terry Tec not to pick on you because I used to be one of the older ones that hated all the stuff that has been let go by for years. Buts lets face it very few cars could qualify here if your heads and intake were bone stock. And to be honest with you I don't want to drive a 12 second B/SA. I would be bored to death by now. Stock is not the Stock it was when you were a tec guy. It's only the name of the category that we race. And like I said I don't want to go back to running slow cars. Good luck to everyone Barry I feel even the none qualified cars should have a chance at the barn. Your here entered taking a spot you should be subject to all the same things all competitors are subject to. Was there a problem parking? A couple days later and I don't remember and I'm ready for next year. What a bad drug addiction I have. Barry |

The revised ladder certainly must have an FS/F competitor feeling much better about Indy 2019.
That was going to be a very difficult first round matchup! I very much enjoy seeing a first time Indy stock winner. |

According to the Engine Labs web site the DA and DC heads are identical. D7OE-DA – 1977-1979, 302, Windsor small-block, 1.78/1.45 valves, 69cc chamber D7OE-DC – 1977-1978, 351, Windsor small-block, 1.78/1.45 valves, 69cc chamber D7OE-DC – 1977-1979, 302, Windsor small-block, 1.78/1.45 valves, 69cc chamber Am I missing something or did Gary get a DQ just because the number wasn't in the book?
