That is because the S/SS community did not support IHRA.
Did not help that IHRA shot its foot off with limited Marketing Promotion. I showed up to most of the races I could reach. Not much difference than Mike Beards ClassNationals. First year was an awesome event..timing killed the next one. Fault myself for not supporting it a second time. It could have added a difference. NHRA did not support the CM and PS classes. Which could have kept IHRA alive. Purest snubbed the classes and NHRA saw this. Now the new threat is all Class racing as we know it will be eliminated. Especially since NHRA owns us! I hope that most of you found this humorous. That was my intent, as Stock Super/Stock racers can say limit or do away with the index classes as nobody watches them anyway. There boring.
