and that was at 250 HP and with the "correct" carb! That makes it even more amazing!

The secret is sit down with the good book (the rulebook), maybe even a tech that will discuss the prohibited items you cannot touch...then find a builder that will follow the required steps to make it faster and not touch those prohibited areas with a ten ft. pole.

Gary, I know in dirt racing they have a go or no go gauge that they use on the base, not sure if other organizations have that. We ran a Holley 500 2 bbl that was flowing 800 cfm tremendous amount of work done, was I cheating yes but never got caught. AJ Foyt once said you aint cheating until you get caught LOL

It's tech's job to determine legality, why I lost interest in "Stock" Eliminator long ago, it's more about what you can away with, rather than good engine building.
