What is going to happen to the seats in the head? Are they now cut larger to accomodate the larger valves? Sounds like the head guy might have to fork out the cash for new castings too.

evan, i was behind you with MJ's head in the head line... you handled yourself well
as i said in larry hills thanks nhra post...everyone knows that 6 thou isnt cheating size just oops dont take it personal, just smile and go racing ! jack mccarthy over 20+ teardowns... and only... 2 DQ's > 6lbs valve spring pressure & 2 degrees duration (back in the day of "real" stockers)

Hey Evan...
Your lesson is not without merit. I've got a set of heads I've pondered having a local machine shop perform. But I don't have to guess anymore. Something to be said about spending the additional $$ WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE. Many of us Ford racers still look up to you with great respect and understand nobody is perfect. Keep up the good work dude!!
