I do remember the stories about Jenkin's Can-Am based powerplants, but I was thinking they were a later exercise, in his '69 car. My "Grumpy's Toys" book is on loan, so I can't check how dried up my brain cells are getting. The '70s were my favorite era of Pro Stock,,, the cars still looked like they were supposed to, and ran like nothing we'd ever seen. Danny Durham |

Looking at posting # 56, in the middle picture, of Bob Lambeck's Cuda launching, the front wheels, to my old eyeballs, look like the Cragars, whereas the wheels on the Dart have a different appearance to me, and I'm not referring the chrome center caps. Take care,,,, Danny Durham |

Here's a few more pics of Bob Lambeck's '68 Hemi Barracuda...did Bob also run a W2 small block, because I always thought he ran big blocks.

Supertricks always had a multi-bolt pattern while the Centerlines came in the individual bolt patterns....if I'm not mistaken. Also, Supertricks had a flatter finish while Centerlines were turned aluminum and were shinier.
And that's how I remember it....at my age , who knows. JimR

Well here's one of Bill 'Grumpy' Jenkins and his Pro Stock Camaro, since a few of you were talking about it earlier...lets here some more old stories on him just to mix it up a bit.
