Kind of strange that a Hemi Belvedere H/T would run SS/EA. That car falls into SS/BA now, the MW would be SS/DA or EA.

That is my old car. There is a Max-Wedge in it. I sold it in 1992 to Jerry Bennett from Kentucky. Jerry sold it a year or two later to Randy Painter from Utah. Randy ran the car for several years but when he lost his Dodge dealership he stopped running it. I hope he gets it back out soon. Wes Leopold Jr.

The '64 and '65 trucks were available with the 426/365 street wedge and a few '65's were built with the Hemi to run in FX class (1 or 2).

Mark: A lot of us used to put 66-70 K member in our 64s which set
engine back 2 inches. I used to loan Hooker my cars to build headers
and they always fit MY car pretty well if not anyone else!

All the D1 wedge cars used the late model K-frame until someone got wind of it and we had to remove them.

I use a 65' Belvedere now for headers, that prototype master set is long gone.

Mark, we did set the engines back on those cars. Every one did the later k frame first until they caught on and then we did something else to set it back. Those were back in the days of Stein,Wilson,Dvorak. "Old school guys" and the good old days !
