All this HOOPLA, because of a fragile ego.

I live in Pierre, SD. It's a small town, center of the state, state capitol. On the banks of the Missouri River. Arguably the Walley fishing center of the universe. On most days, even now in the winter, there are a dozen boats & trailers at each boat ramp. These are $50K and up boats, with $30K and up engines on them, and another $20K worth of electronics. Now throw in reals, tackle, and all the other stuff. Many have spent more than $100,000 to be on the water. All to catch a Walley.

My point, I don't know of any hobby that doesn't cost money. But that's really the wonderful part of racing, isn't it? There's bunch of classes out there. Something for everyone, wouldn't you agree? It's unclear to me why you need to disparage why I race and the class I race in when you don't even race in the class that I compete in nor have I disparaged you or your choices.

If you ask for opinions and advice on a public forum you need to understand that means you have to put up with someone like 1320race. Just ignore him like almost everyone else here does.

says the clown that derailed this thread starting at post #9, a nobody, a computer]programmer, a clueless old man who never raced and that no one here with a clue gives him, nor his malarkey the time of day.

Pathetic old fool who's days are running out on this rock yet he spends them here, on a forum he has no first hand knowledge and experience of the topics being discussed.

Says the Forum Fool with the fragile ego. Whom continues to contribute to the train wreck.

He's not breaking any forum rules by derailing this thread or any other for that matter.

Yes, I am almost as pathetic as a self centered know-it-all that doesn't know shyt and is clueless about his lack of TRUE knowledge. Now you can regurgitate the same response as above. LMFAO

It is amazing how he almost tries to Bully people, and then just folds when called on it.

Not sure when the rule changed but you can use aftermarket seats.
Definitely keep the originals though.
Like I said earlier, don't get rid of anything!

I wish I still had the bench seat for the Chevelle!
Drag & drive in my opinion.

Parts and pieces are getting hard to find and stupid money, even interior parts and trim.

Plus, purpose built seats are certainly safer.

Just like getting the stock fuel tank out from under the car and putting a cell in the trunk.
