Peter,
You are right. This is going to be a great race and we really owe that to the Dimino family. Lee and myself could not have done this without them. They have just been exceptional. They "ARE" sportsman racers and they know about what we go through just to get to a race and what we should expect when we get there. They have gone above and beyond. Everything that we have asked of them they have agreed to. Lee and myself are living a dream of putting on a big money race for the Sportsman racer and the Dimino family has been supportive the entire way. When we chose Numidia, we knew that we were going to get a great facility but we didn't have any idea that we were going to get a great family as well. Please support them for all that they have done for us. If you see them, tell them Thank You, they deserve it.

I should be rolling into the track about 3:00 pm, can't wait to say hi to everyone. I've not looked forward to a race this much in a long time! This will be fun for all involved, be sure to see me in the tower, Lee Zane, Dave Ley and Michael Beard are all going to get mike time with me and share their knowledge, stories etc. throughout the weekend. The racing will be great, no question about it. A HUGE thanks to Brian VanPoppel, Lee Zane and the whole Dimino family and crew for making this happen. Let the fun begin!

What a great race. I really want to thank Lee and Brian for stepping up and paying the whole purse, even though they were short on cars. Says a bunch about those guys and how passionate they are about making this race work this year and for future events.
Also a huge thank you to Joe Lisa for loaning me his 86 Camaro to use. Wish I could have made us some money bud...

Look at these numbers. It was just some insane racing. The numbers that everyone put up all day were just incredible.
