We had a great day here as well. My 2 buddies hadn't seen anything like this before and they were impressed. Glad I got to meet some new faces today and catch up with some I'd met before. Thanks again Michael, for your hospitality and also to Mike who invited us into the tower for a little meet & greet too. I was glad to give you a break on the mic for a round of S/S.
The SS/K Shootout was really cool to watch and thanks to Rob for coming up and showing us his video, especially that crazy AMX wheelstand from this morning's first session. A lot of cars really made an impression on us all today,,too many to recall here now. Congrats to all the class winners today,, Larry I didn't realize you'd won until I read your post above,, way to go, guy! Looking forward to tomorrow,, hope its a little warmer, but I'm still wearing shorts. See you all there. Danny Durham |

Well for all you want a bee racers that did not show up you are missing some great racing . You listened to the weather man and lost out . It has been nothing but great side by side racing . Nitro Joe did a great job in getting cars parked . Redman and his crew did a great job in keeping the track in good shape as the stick cars kept It tore up. Looks like Loose Rocker is putting a good show.

I apologize for the lack of updates from me - I leave it in the many capable hands from Patsy to Rob Jackson, as well as the live video on www.motormaniatv.com. You know me, I talk/post way too much. We were simply wide open from start to finish today. One thing or another needs attention constantly. HUGE props to the entire staff for taking the reigns. Everyone knows their job, and just flat gets it done. Nitro Joe and Chris Stilwell make a potent, indispensible team running the very challenging program we had laid out today. Redman and Brad Beuchler had their own challenges, and met them head on and proactively, taking extra time to ensure the best prep possible. Friday was the tough day. It's in the books, so it's clear sailing! Last two qualifying runs tomorrow, featuring the AFCO Wheelstand Contest in Q4 presented by IHM Used Parts and Jewell Computing, followed by the $3000 to win NitroPlate S/SS Combo... And then we party!
Congrats to our first race winners! Tyler Fillipone - Hammerhead/Buckeye S/SS Series Junior Stock Marty Buth - QuickFuel Quick 32 Stock, presented by Comp Cams Ricky Decker - QuickFuel Quick 32 Super Stock, presented by Comp Cams ![]() ![]()

Motor Mania TV Video coverage was Great Michael.
I wanted to make this event, but the car didn't get finished yet.

Good morning! Right now it is a partly sunny day! Still a possible shower or 2, but a little warmer, up to 65 this afternoon. We get 2 qualifying runs today, then the combo this evening, then the dinner put on by Loose Rocker! Yesterday was a long day, but fun. As I said before, we won class! Then we were an alternate for the Quick 32. Got beat 1st round, but was fun anyway!
I want to thank all the racers that showed up for this race and especially the ones from Division 5! There are lots of guys here from a long way off. I met some nice people from Mass. also. Thanks for everyone's effort to be here for this special race. We could easily have had an extra 100 or so if Division 1, 2, and 4 had not scheduled races on top of this one. I just hope that Michael was able to make some money on this one, or I doubt that there will be another one. You have to attend a US Class Nationals to experience the feeling you get seeing all these great cars. Well more later. Have to get ready to rumble!!! |

Anybody know, is Bob Michael running the 60's Pontiac? Didn't see it run in any of the videos/coverage.
Thanks
