Didn't know you were looking for the requests, as well as the changes. -Al

No problem. I think Mike Pearson has the answer.
After all, they're very busy out there, measuring Pro Stock cowl hoods, etc.

We also need to present it to the sponsors, the people who sell parts and already pay contingency. The real problem there is that NHRA is not real friendly toward them, the program really doesn't incentivize itself to the sponsors.
Alan,

I sent out over a 100 emails to racers. I put it on here and my facebook page. 90% said they were for it. Ive tried twice the past couple of years. No dice. I didnt contact any potential sponsors because it went nowhere.

Yep.
HP additions twice a year.

Reductions once a year.

The last day anyone can request a h.p. reduction is the Tuesday following the conclusion of the World Finals

Mark, I believe Mike Pearson is correct, the WELFARE has been cut to once a year. Hard to believe that some of my chicken **** buds have 1 800 CRY NHRA on their speed dial.....I fondly remember when these same guys used to work and thrash on their combos with great success....Of course you can always use PLAN B, upon this bible I solemnly swear that this 340 edelbrock intake came from the factory and is stock Eliminator legal......LOL.....EDIT....this also works for deep sump oil pans, 3 speeds in cars that came with powerglides, etc....etc....

Newbee(sp?) here so, if this has been brought up before, I apologize. I assume lane choice is still determined by a coin toss? If so, how about the higher qualified car always gets lane choice. This would be simple and costs nothing. I doubt this will make a major change in qualifying but at least would be a minor perk. Now, whether or not lane choice is important to most racers, I don't know so, sorry if this is a silly idea.
