Kind of a non-issue right now isn’t it? For most events they aren’t even reaching the quotas. Bristol being the most recent example.

Why don’t you Snowflakes get there 3 days early… So you can melt away and there’s more room for us Rich $$$ folk can have more room If you like camping in you van or truck and trailer Good For You Enjoy the ballistic heat and wet ☔️ rain You 2 must live in assisted living or something Keep you open trailer enjoy the sunburn and rain. I will stay cool and dry.

Typically most events reach quota early on in the process. Some events are more popular than others. Racers will wait to enter until the quota starts to fill up the jump in there. Some will drop out in the last few days/hours if something comes up and they cant make the race. Its not unusual for 10 percent to drop out for this reason. fuel costs and the decline in discretionary spending could be starting to impact some races.
