Re: Trailer tire recommendation
I have BF Goodrich LT235/85R/16 load range E TA COMMERCIAL tires on my pick up they are great in the snow/rain last a long time ,quiet and wear well--- I have about 35M miles on them gonna put the same tires on my trailer next month---bought them from Discount Tire--- do not know if you have them in your area but The Tire Rack stores also sells them and I think they have an arrangement with Midas shops to install them as part of the purchase price from the Rack---this is my 3rd set of these tires and even the tech at Discount was amazed at how well they wear!!!! and these tires say made in the USA just checked em--- FED387

Re: Trailer tire recommendation
Realisticly any good 235/85/16 truck tire withan E rating or better should give good service unless your trailer is extremly heavy. I would assume you are towing with a dually and this is the tire used for years on those trucks until recently where the 17 and 18 inch tires came on the market. I used this size tires on all of my duallys and never had a problem. My trailer has Goodyear e rated tires on it now with many miles w/ no problems. Like the others have said stay away from the marathons. I had some Dayton commercial rated tires on my last dually that wore like iron. They would be a good choice too.

Re: Trailer tire recommendation
Trailer Tires- Been there and Done That !
Went to 16 in (F) rated tires and throw them away every 2 years - after 20K miles per year. Never had a problem in all the miles I tow. They are Kenda Load Star's !

Re: Trailer tire recommendation
Get the Goodyear G614's, they are G load range and can be inflated to 100lbs. The best e load range tires I've seen are the the Bridgestone 250 r's.
