We're leaving around 2 or 3pm today. The weather is kind of looking better - 60% chance of rain tomorrow I see on weather.com, but now Sunday went from 20% to 30%. Hopefully things will work out. Everyone have a safe trip.

Regrettably, I will not be able to get to my first pro-am this weekend. Good luck to all, I am new to class racing, and am looking forward to competing in the future, master or junk the two step on the pedal, and have fun playing with the 96 ct/sa dakota, or even the 70 challenger.

I was exposed to the stock/superstock racing crowd for the first time last year at the national event at Epping, where I was footbraking with my 70 challenger rt/se a detuned g/sa car in ET. Pitted next to Mccormacks beyond pretty white hemi stocker......watched everyone run and was hooked......

Bought Earl Six's CT/SA dakota in the fall, perfect fit for me, and competitive as it won class twice last year! I do like to compete, but must admit, being consistent on the tree is more difficult for me than hitting a 88 + MPH fastball in my 30+ mens baseball league.

Good luck all.

Sterling Simmons showed making it 17. Now it's a 5 round race today.

I created an album under my photobucket account so I can share the pictures I take, this one is of the MIR divisional races - I'll try and do this at each race we go to. I uploaded 57 pictures, mostly stock, super stock and just a handful of hotrod cars. I'm still playing with this new camera, getting used to the shutter speed mainly, and trying to get consistent with it. I'm getting a lot of nice wheelie shots but cut the front fenders off just slightly - I'll get the hang of it someday. In the mean time here's what I got to share....
