I would think that the NHRA Pro's would be contracting the NHRA sportsman to enhance their show. Therefore, they should be paying the sportman the $800,000 per year!

Sorry Mike,
It works the other way around so there will be a profit shown & the sportsmen will pay for the big profit. Don't make a mistake & think They havent already figured out how to squeeze it out of us. This is just a slick way to cover the profit the "Not for profit guys" make. I'll go out on a limb here & predict that their will be a new way for the sportsman racer to enter the NHRA Pro races. We will probably have to earn performance points, along with paying more, & the number allowed to attend will be cut. Sportsmen will only be there for filler, similar to the way it is now. I'm very confidant that there will be quite a few "NHRA IS THE WAY" (die hard) racers that will follow along like loyal sheep. It will be sold to us so well that we just won't be able to help it. Adger Smith, your negative attitide shows that you are a disgruntled old drag racer who in fact doesn't even race NHRA. So don't talk your **** about "NHRA IS THE WAY" racers that you can't even compete with.
It's not are fault that you just aint good enough anymore. Stay home and bitch to someone who cares. |

YEAH! Obviously written by somebody (?) who knows what he's talking about.
Guess all those records and #1 Qualifiers are for naught, Adger. Someone attacking Adger's credibility is laughable - regardless of whether or not you agree with his opinion. Michael Beard Staging Light Graphic Design & Printing Duck Tape/Loctite Racing H - I - J/CM '80 Volare 360 Magnum

For nothing is correct Beard ! Lets not forget these were IHRA accomplishments.
If Mr. Adger is going to make off handed comments about NHRA racers he needs to come see how good he really is....or isn't. I think we know the answer. |
