Default Re: Non Profit

This whole thing has been debated to death. There seems to be no means by which to change what has happened. Fortunately we all do have a choice, take it in stride and go on or change our racing habits, and I call it a habit cause that's what it really is we got hooked on it knowing going in that it was going to cost us all money and time and was never going to return what we have invested. From my stand point the extra money is NOT going to make me quit racing if were just a money issue I would have quit years ago. Personally the ONLY issue I have is the way it was "announced" without warning or any real comm. from the top people. I find what people Do is a better indicator of their character than what they say. Joe

Well Joe........ you're right about one thing........ we can't change what has already happened....... BUT..... we can make an attempt to stop it from continuing......... "CHOP FROM THE TOP"........ throw all of the big dollar guys into the street........ and then hire qualified people to fill the jobs at a much lower rate...... most of the big businesses in my area seem to be doing it and seem to be better for it....... besides, do we really think that the guys at the top of the pyramid are the ones making it work???.........

ANYWAY...... write as many letters as you can to NHRA and, most importantly, Forrest Lucas, whose company sponsors the Sportsman Series......... if the pile gets big enough, someone might think something is wrong..........
