Chris,
My personal experience in swapping a 904 for a 727 many years ago was that we picked up a solid tenth. We have run 904s ever since. My son replaced a low geared 904 with a 727 keeping the same converter (reworked for the 727) and loss two tenths. I would go with the 904. I am sure there are lots of good shops that can get you one while you wait on Pro-Trans. Congratulations on your new car and good luck with it. Bill Lamb (green with envy) |
