As far I know Roush has an old kmart store they converted over to build the cars. They are delivered throw ford dealers as far as I know.

They are built by Ford. Roush has nothing to do with them this time around. You had to order them through a Ford Dealer & pay Ford Motor Company. PB Candies

Its a Ford Assembly at the Flatrock plant.....AutoAlliance.....where the other mustangs are built....that's where the pictures were taken....the UAW is assembling them.

OK, I'm a died in the wool Ford guy, and bleed blue when cut, but a "C2" transmission...????? That transmission being attached to the engine is a Powerglide if I ever saw one!
I wonder, if Ford has adopted the 'glide as its own, and designated it a C2, can it now be used in older stockers and super stockers? Interesting development.

Ford did have a Glide of it's own it was called a Fordomatic, came out in 1959 was around a few years 2-speed real pile of Sh--! My dad had a new 1959 Custom 300 with a 292 Check out Ford History

The CJ's are all engineered by Ford Racing employees and built on a niche assembly line at the Auto Alliance Plant in Flat Rock, Michigan. The workers are hand picked UAW Mustang line workers. Watson Engineering does the roll cage and body reinforcement points before the cars go down the plant paint line. I think in this day and age it's pretty cool that Ford can do this operation in their own assembly plant! Thank GOD for the people that are managing FOMOCO.
