Too bad John is not still around, I guarantee it would have been a whole lot faster than that, especially, if he was the one driving. He was making over 900 HP back in 2002 with a twin turbo deal. You could drive it to the grocery store, but if you stuck your foot in it, hang on. I could never figure out why he let me drive his race car, but not one of the Corvettes, maybe, just maybe, the dragster was expendible, but not a Corvette (LOL). He was like a bull in a china shop when it came to making horsepower.

He was a great racer and engine builder.......
One year at Maple Grove.....I stopped and took a close look at his A/ED......he was running very fast as usual. I don't recall what engine he was running but it was making big HP......He was working hard on it..... Some of the Div 3 Comp cars often made it to Maple Grove and I always stopped to look at a few......The 6 cylinder Ford altered of A,A&H was always worth a good long look......as were some others.....Awesome.....
