I hear ya, Brian. Here are the things I think we should really be worrying about: Will Drooze make it to Houston? Will he break the 10 second barrier? Will he break another motor? Will Mandie be guiding him to the starting line in a super hot outfit? These are the burning questions real class racers need to know. -Toby |

Toby,
That post was funny. Seriuosly If NHRA made Indy or any other national class win only you would'nt have 50 cars show up. It's still a bracket race I don't car what Buffboy says. Chip Johnson |

So what if only 50 show up.It will at least be a drag down fight for the class wins.I'd pay to see that.50 diehards going at it.

Yes But they are fond memories for those than were there.
And I want to lobby for lowering the indexes another 7 tenths all across the board. This will stop most of the sandbagging 1000' stuff and make racing, racing again.

I never said it wasn't a bracket race (most of the time it is a shoe polish game in S/SS). I just stated the dozen or so things that seperates Class Racing from an average bracket race. And they've bitten quite a few average bracket folks over the years.

There was a time you spent the money to be fast chippy. It may be a bracket race, but when you get a heads up run that you are covered 4 or 5 tenths... then what is it?

More like time to tune it up and see what you've really got.
