Josh was just trying to put the scoop back on. NHRA ususally has them pull the front end off at the back of the staging lanes to fuel them with NHRA's fuel, if there was anything back there it would have been found a long time ago. Mike can't out run anybody a tenth. If you are not actually keeping up with Pro Stock (Most of you evidently are not) you don't know what is happening and should probably keep your ignorant thoughts to yourself.
If you don't know that NHRA has been looking at that car very hard, you have not been around. Mike gets very frequent visits to his pit area from tech officials, same as Anderson did when he was the fast guy.

Mike had less than two HUNDREDTHS on them Sunday. He has never had any of them covered a tenth. Nobody that knows that man would spout this kind of ignorance.

These prostock guys are all very secretive. I've very good friends with Vinnie Deceglie and the Mitsos family-they get their engines from Allen Johnson. When I talk to Vinnie or any of the Mitsos, they come out to the ropes. The Johnsons do not allow people in where the car is. I'm fine with that-those guys have worked hard to develop their power and then to get it to the ground and I understand why they want to keep people away from the car.

I agree,in the last 10 years alot of teams take turns being dominate and faster then the rest of the field, its called research and development.ive never seen a team 1 tenth faster than the rest of the field,if that did happen red flags would be waving. yes warren did have some brakes i m glad he won.the guy is a icon and a pioneer of prostock. But you guys are a bunch of cry babies and have nothing better to do then talk crap and act like idiots.everytime i look on this stock/superstock forum someone is crying get alife.........Mike edwards has been a contender for awhile and warren has the most wins in prostock you should respect them not bash them, put one of you guys in a prostocker and go race warren than say hes washed up!!!!! my 2 cents!!!!!

WJ is just like Bob Glidden...they work hard for everything they have gotten...WJ does have 97 National Event wins....both of them have a lot of respect for the Sportman racers...and even been know to help out the little guy! It does take luck...we see it all the time....as they say sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

As far as Mike goes...his faith in God would not allow him to cheat! His God comes first in his live...always has.

well said Ed. i think Mike is one of the hardest working guys out there, and has a talented bunch of guys back at the shop too. I think if your on this forumn, and a class racer. i'm sure somewhere in the past when you had found a little something that gave you an edge on your competition. that was perfectly legal. and you worked your butt off testing, or even just paid someone for the latest go fast part. i'm sure you kept it a secret right?

I can guarantee you one thing. Mike would never cheat. He is too much man for
that. Especially since he is such a good Christian Man representing the
program he does. I have known Mike for 30 years and he would not do that.

My son went to school with a few guys that work at WJ's and trust me the dyno is a 24/7 deal with these guys. There is a constant search for the next 2 to 3 horsepower.

I follow Pro Stock very closely as I have a personal interest in one of the cars. Not a sponsorship or investment just a personal interest. Mike has had an average of 6 hun to one tenth better over the averages of the rest of the field in total. (Do the math). You also claim Josh was just trying to put the scoop back on so I am guessing you didn't watch the same media coverage the rest of the world did. I have it recorded if you would like a copy. I never said Mike was cheating I only said some things are odd. So before you start name calling please be sure you know what you are talking about. As far as WJ I am glad he won the race. I have been a fan of his since I was a young kid and miss seeing him in the winners circle.
