I heard Saturday was going to be cloudy, but no rain. I hope that holds up too. Hate to get rained out of two in a row after Indy.

And thanks Joe, I got my stats already..

David, will you be running a 5.7 combo if you make Norwalk, or are you going back to a 6.1 motor in the car? Regards. WJ

5.7 with a little more go we hope....I had certain things dialed back a bit (ok 2 a lot but shhhh) , intentionally till we saw how our bottom and coatings were gonna work, they were good, I didnt think they were but Im a bit paranoid that way.

Well see....we have 2 final changeups to try to squeeze the most out of the 5.7 we think we can. 1 will probably be at testing after Norwalk probably 42 the following Tue if the weather allows, and the other may be too at the same session if I can spin my wrenches fast enough. Or at Indy who knows.

Then well tear down and inspect, after Indy and lather rinse repeat.......yeah I know a stocker isnt meant to be tore down this often but hey I gotta learn and I rather see what is and what isnt working before it goes arwy and time I have.

Dad and Mandie have been monster helping this week with me having other responsibilities and dealing with my middle movment shrieks of pain from a back injury that is somewhat reminiscent of something from a 50's mental ward movie or someone with Tourettes syndrome. Chiro again tommorow....well see, I think theyre snakeoil salesmen but at this point , well I dont have much choice short of narcotics which make me puke and then I wont be able to drive and forget bolts and well all kinds of bad things will happen........ so for right now Im walking around periodically shrieking like a wounded hyena.

Where is Marlin Perkins to Narrate Video from the Shop when you need him......were starting a webcast next week of Day to Day at the shop if all goes well......

I can hear it now ......"Here is a drooze in his natural habitat, notice the carefully strewn but primitive tools, notice , AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAEEEEE.. ..that folks is the sound from a drooze injured by his sole purpose for life, a Dodge Drag Pak"............

I thought the screaming sound was me in the corner from the state of organization in the shop (more like lack thereof).

The discovery of the air ratchet and my pocket 'o treasures (sockets) really helped speed the removal of the truck's engine last week. That's my point of view though, perhaps I'm biased because it was my idea to keep all the sockets we needed in one convenient and nearby spot; my apron pocket. It was almost like magic every time I produced the right size socket. Really, you should've seen their eyes light up!

Here's to hoping we actually get to Norwalk in time and working order, and that next week I can maybe drive for my 1st time at 42!

Also, Jimmy B, we're rooting for you to get there too!

Well for anyone who has seen our dissaray of sockets, tools, life or hell everything.....Im proud you didnt actually cry at the shop with our mess.....that took guts. Mike Tyson ....hell heda been in a corner crying like a baby.

Jimmy You better step **** up....you better be there, and you too Ryan....time to set the "Old Timers" on their ears........time for a regime change and not so many pricky people on CR........ask an honest question get a BS answer, half of em not racing class or ever will....simple questions simple answers seemed simple to me till I got here.... Or Im gonna have to figure out how to get done and loaded by 5 tommorow, drive me and Mandie down there and finish yer car up by 5 am......she did say shell bring one of her striped mini skirts and heels down if thatll motivate you......

Where you stayin Jimmy ? Were probably gonna camp and roast smores drink cheap beer and sleep on air matresses......

Its the Journey not the destination........on the destination its lost.........and forgotten.......

Im still trying to figure out my Oddessy ..... maybe Homer has some hints....

It's true, I have found that my skirts are very popular these days in the motivation arena. We can/will come put some fire under your butt. By our powers combined, we will make Norwalk! lol

Well try as we might, a bad back and now sick kids.....my kids take precedent.....maybe theyll be feeling better....but I dont see that happening. Unfortunatley no amount of motivational effort can change those things.....

Bah....I guess I need to work more on as Irv Johns called it "Practicing on Getting to the Track"

Oh well maybe there is a sunny side, what it is ? I cant even fathom maybe getting some things wrung out a little more thoroughly......42 Here we come...lol

I have some good pointers for you on prom night, I can't print them on the board, call me and I will tell you. Don't let your dad know your calling me.

I think this weekend is going to be spent turning wrenches and learning megasquirt. I am still trying to think of a name for the car that does not have "Rated R" content.
