Talking Re: MOPAR 8.75 5.00 gear

First of all Give Thanks to our Vetrans Today.

input:

What if we can have some major supply warehouses have these available. Mancini, Jegs, Summit, Mopar performance, MOSER, Richmond, Precision, Randy's etc add it to the part # listings MOPAR sections in their catalogs.

I have told Jim in the past, I am in for several sets but they must be for the 742 case. This is a better design than the tapered case ..

I have a deal working on this with Moser with the help of Larry Cummings. All I need is 25 sets sold and Moser will have 50 sets made.As of now everyone wants 742 case, pro gear, lightened. I was told at Indy that the cost would be around $500.00 a set. Right now I have 8 sets spoken for and Jeff said he would pickup 10 sets or so to make the order work. So this it who wants one post your name and I will forward Moser and lets get em' working. I spoke with all involved at Belle Rose this past weekend and Moser is waiting on us.

I have a set of Richmond 4.75 gears for the 42 housing that I may list soon, I wonder if they are desirable for any common combos.

These are set up in the case too and were new when I put them together, I made less than 10 runs and knew it wasn't right for the car.

here's what we have so far
Mike Natoli 1 Dave Wertman 1 gmonde 1
Jim Storms 1 Chuck Beach 2 Brandon Carter 1
Jerry Davis 2 George 1 Kelly Mackay 4
Mark Poole 1 Buckner 2
Thats 17 right now and with Jeff standing up for the 8 to make the order I can forward to Moser and see if we can get this going.

still here, it seams like when I did all this everyone who was
Interested only wanted a few sets. if someone. is really interested
in splitting the quantity that we need to purchase. I just don't really
want to have 250 sets of gears on my shop floor. step up and get it
done.
