I wish him well. I got my first round win ever against Ronnie at Houston and RJ gave him a very hard time and Ronnie fired back in a way only he could do. I wish him a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing him next year. I will get a prayer chain started.

This is not easy to beat. My friends wife has had it come back for the 3rd time after beating it twice before and being declared cancer free. She is on her third go at kemo and stem cell transplants as I type this. Now an infection has set in with her. I wish him well but to be honest....it dosent look good due to what I have learned. My prayers go out to him. Cancer is such an ugly thing. Lets all hope that a cure is found in our life time.

Ronnie has taken another turn for the worse. His kidneys have shut down and the doctors have now said there is nothing more they can do. They are giving him what he needs to make him comfortable. We need a miracle, my friends. |

Ronnie West is one of the most generous people I have ever known.
I have seen him reach into his pocket and give money to people that he wanted to help so many times I can't even count them. I know that he sent several thousand dollars to the widow of a slain highway patrolman all the way across the country, a guy he didn't even know. I have also heard of him giving money to poor people on numerous occasions. He's a great guy, my friend, and he is in my prayers during this difficult hour. |
