No wonder he likes me!....I think?

I really hate these popularity contest posts as there is so many good people out their in drag racing, both at IHRA & NHRA races, even at the local bracket racing tracks, so to ask who is and have 1 person to a question is a loaded question. All the people already spoke on here are great people, but in my book the list is a never ending list for the great people I have met and that has helped out.
Just my 2 cents.

There arent many racers who wouldnt help someone if they really need it. I for one have helped change tires on the side of the road of people I really didnt like, but we are all one big family. Real racers will help a real racer just about anytime........

Wait there is an exception.......I learned real quick Jr Dragster parents as a whole dont play by these rules.

Herb, it's the toxic cocktail mix....parents, kids and competition - I referee minor hockey; it's not pretty.

Besides Billy Goat I'd have to add someone most familiar in Div. 1,my friend Tom Goldman. Many of you know Tom and Kathy.I've been at the track and it's a wonder he can get any work done on his stuff due to all the work he does on other peoples stuff.
Doesn't matter if it's Super categories,S/SS,other race cars,tow vehicles,pit vehicles
or whatever.
He actually cut back last year a bit and concentrated on what he had to do for himself and
it proved tobe a good decision. He had a great year.
Thanks Tom for all the help you've given this mechanically declined wanna be stock racer. Thanks Kathy and Holley too.

Yeah! Good choice, Eddie. Tom can always "hide" in my motorhome, when he needs to "get away"! He and Billy can throw a few "brain farts" around. Soupie showes up occassionally and the three of them can argue.....er.....discuss.........yeah, that's it......discuss a problem or two.

I agree about Tom and Billy. I also want to put in a word for Bob Huettman and Steve Ambrose and the late Rey Argenta-I've never met any group of racers kinder than them.
