Ron, I have raced 1/4 mile for 41 years, thinkin I may dig out a delay box and a tranny brake and try it. Remember, I had one of the first delay boxes in MN and I loved it. Can't see any reason not to try it. NHRA S/SS is turning into a circus act with not much improvement in sight. I must have an attitude problem, or just plain sick of it! I think i'll go camping

I know what ya mean Joe. May 1970 Minn Dragways C/MP was my 1st yr. Still love it but it seems sometimes I have a problem on how things are run and am always pointed out to be a complainer. I just may take a year off and see what its like to go somewhere without the trailer. Hey, lets plan a camping trip !! I can see it now, two very old racers hit the campgrounds. What a story !!

Nice site ! Thanks Jerry. Hey Joe, instead of joining NHRA this year we could join Good Sams club. An idea !!

Great news for Sabin! I attended the track for the first time this summer and it was fun, good people running the track from owner to staging lanes. It's a long haul for me but I will go.

Hey Mr. Demarais, is that car of yours going to fast you wanna race 1/8th mile? Even if you bracket race it's still 1/4 mile... It's only December guys so let's think positive..

As you stated, the way NHRA is and can be, just another good reason to support local combo's and this open at Top End.

Ron, you must be talking about BIR's last race. I'm not sure if the track would have been dangerous running the full 1/4? I doubt it as I have ran in much cooler conditions then that. It was fun and something I haven't done in 8-9 years but prefer running the 1/4 as well.

You guys be safe and I will see you in the spring.

Tim
