I got a similar message via facebook.A friend contacted me and said basically the same thing.Be careful.

Double check before you send any money and DON'T answer the email. The syntax and grammar of the letter is not a typical American style.

Guys,
That is as common as the Nigerian scam.
NOBODY sends an email out like that. Not legitimate anyways. And no country in the world will not let you get a hold of somebody back home if in fact you lost "everything". And those countries that would deny you access to help from home, wouldn't even allow this ONE communication.

We received an email like that a year or so ago, supposedly from George Widuch. We called George and of course it was a scam, but someone had hacked his computer and got all of his email contacts. He had to get a new email address and get the virus off his computer. Be careful what you reply to.

I sure hope you weren't naive enough to believe this !! This has been an online scam for years. They just change the country of need, sometimes England or Germany and now Spain. Most likely it originated in Nigeria...
