Any bets that the rod size is more than .070" undersize of the NHRA spec of 2.438" on the FE Ford. All in all it is a cool car with a great driver.

Mr. Hill, you could invest some of your Norwalk winnings to take a look at the bearing sizes. Besides it could be fun to see if the NHRA cherry picker can handle the weight of an FE Ford motor. Wasn't it not that long ago that it wasn't able to lift a big block Chevy out of a Camaro at Indy?

Larry I have never meet you, never raced you, never stole a class trophy from you! However if given the chance I will do what ever I have in my little bag of tricks to drive around you! Don't let the legality of my FE bother you......step up and put your money where your mouth is! Tibor, Blair and I would love to have your cash to go out for supper with! Rod's are legal NHRA accepted! I find it funny that you would concern yourself with a 48 year old combination, when the the new supercharged combo's are going to run over everyone. Tom Nolan.

So Tom is your crankpin smaller than 2.368''? I'm glad your coming to Indy. If we do race I think nothing will be left in the trailers, and that's the way it should be. Win, lose, or draw I will have lots of fun and a good time.
I am just like everyone else that is entered, we came to win! |

Why does it always come down to the size of my crank pin? I'm old enough to know that I'm likely not going to win this one......I concede....you win! Your crank pin is bigger than mine! I like to laugh and have fun as well.

Thanks for the laugh! Pretty funny stuff! Drop by at Bowling Green or Indy and have an adult beverage on me! ( or we could have a Capri Sun depending on if our granddaughters leave us any!)
