Modified return? - Page 2

Watching and reading the posts on the "Bogus HP ratings" . Everyone is well aware of the fact NHRA cannot, will not, or cares not to make the field level based on HP ratings.
I realize most are "born and bred" Stock or SS racers where ratings WERE the answer.
Why not move more and more to the Modified classes currently present? No advantage to anyone who builds one over another.
Why not support the lb/cubic inch class of your choice and help push the level field by leaving it to the "Bogus Hp cars" and still racing on a more equal basis?
