Maybe to rephrase myself, wanting to know the acceptable carb for the 305

Your combination calls for the small Q-jet, which has 1.093" primary venturi diameters. You can run the early or late style, straight or side fuel inlet, as long as it is the correct size. I run the same size as yours on my 305 stocker.
