Doug, thanks for the update. Hopefully the weather will not be as bad as anticipated. So will the ladders be set from today's qualifying or will tomorrow count, or just a time trial for all. Just curious, have 2 friends there racing. Brian Seaburg from Belfair, Wa. and Brian Thompson from Federal Way, Wa.

Congrats to Brian Seaburg for winning class yesterday! I see the other U/SA car, driven by Skip Lisell is atop the qualifying list,,, anybody know what combo he is running? I can't imagine theres too many 302-Comet/Maverick racecars out there running around. I know of one that stayed home this weekend to run the divisional here.

A Caddy and a Comet. Must have been some drag race!
I remember a run between two VW Beetles at Milan in the 60s. They were bumper to bumper for so long that the crowd and tower were able to make jokes, pick sides and cheer the winner during the run. Dale

The guys from Washington are Way Cool! 73 Comet!? Old Mustang! Open trailers. Half way across country. Don't know how they ended their day. Sounds like the Comet did well. I broke out against Terry Johnson. His .009 light vs my .033 forced me to run under by more than I should have...Broke out by .035. Things happen fast at 155 MPH! Jason Line runs his Dad, Larwence Line tomorrow in 2nd round of class...In stock eliminator!

A father son matchup in round two, Lawrence and Jason Line. I always want Jason to win, but this time not so much. Come on Lawrence!

Got your wish Larry! First time I ever met Mr. Line I was with Tim Rix at Earlville and looking for Lance for a friend many years ago. I walk up and ask about Lance and he says "he stepped away", hands me a hamburger off the grill and "have a seat." Bet they had a great time before and during the race.
