Our division director is not motivated to do that sort of thing. The last one we had at Gainesville was not well attended and he threw in the towel. I say Jim Wahl for Div 2 director.

Gary's been a God send to the sportsman racers in NHRA. That being said anybody have a loose stocker laying around for a tired old racer to get his feet wet again?

Michael, I tried racing a FWD car once with not too good results. I guess it's an old school thing.

More out of division cars race at the Div 2 races than home division cars.

There are quite a few guys from other divisions that spend the winters here in Fla. That kind of skews things a bit. Plus the way the races are scheduled here in div 2 around the Gators brings in a lot of out of div racers. We are glad to have them and I have made new friends with the ones that spend the winters here. My point was that we don't have the best division director here and he does nothing to improve what is happening in this division. We used to have several opens here in Fla at the end of the year that were well attended. Orlando, Palm Beach (Formerly Moroso) and Bradenton used to have opens at the end of the year but those dried up under the Bill Holt regime. Now we mostly have IHRA racing in Fla.

Best thing for D2 would be to have Gary start opening his electronic stores down here in the South. I am pretty sure he would get a lot of business for all the support he does.
