Hey Kevin, I reckon you're right, BUT, just because there's a super, duper cool guy fronting the Outlaws show doesn't mean it will transfer over. It'll be short term just like the arm waving start show that's now defunct.

How about this! Put a super, duper cool guy pumping up cool cars on TV from a National. We already have cool cars that already do big wheel-stands and get it done. Problem is, we rarely crash and continually make good passes all the time !!!!! HUH-------------boring I suppose. Class racers are a breed of their own and it's difficult to get an audience to understand what and why we do this.

I Agee Bernie. I'm sure The Outlaw boys are gonna explain street racing is dangerous
But the racing they do Is NoT Real Grudge Racing. the match ups would never happen and the cars are not even street or grudge cars They are race cars. They race 1/8 mile BS and are in a controlled race coarse. No danger with the Law Beside Nhra gotta try something If anyone one of the multi car teams packs it in they in trouble.

Maybe NHRA is investigating a Street Outlaw class to be run under their banner. They have "Super Street " now. Run what you brung side bets included and amount announced. Kinda like their "cash day" format. New class at the divisional and national level. Big Cheif as the announcer and no times posted on the boards just win or loose.
