Joe, there are numerous stock/super stock racers that are willing to wound their engine to win class and a worthless wally.

Yeah, 350/255 or 300 stocker. 10 national records, 4 wallys, several wins. One engine in 13 years, think I will stick with almost four.

We run the milodon stock pan. Have 5 qts total including filter without problems. Back in the old days when you had to run a stock 4qt pan we ran it a qt low (3 plus filter) for years back in the 80's. Never had any problems but we ran a stock low volume pump. Just my thoughts. sbc by the way.

I think you are right, but I'd bet you don't run a high volume, high pressure pump. That's what gets people in trouble.

Hi,
I guess nobody wants to tackle the problem of TOO MUCH oil in an incorrectly baffled pan?????????????????? Without the oil controlled it can climb the rear of the oil pan into the spinning crankshaft and foamed (aerated) oil doesn't lubricate..... Bob
