Are you against a level playing field????? How about we fix the other end to make it like the starting line, first break out will be the loser????? So much for fairness.... I didn't race my own car in 2016 so I didn't vote.... I wonder how people who voted raced last year and only voted once???

Don you stated in another thread that Div 6 poll does not represent the other 99%. I offered polls for the other 99% and that's not right according to you. What would you propose? I'm willing to let the polls show what the majority wants. If people are not to be trusted and dont vote only in their Division then shame on me for trusting the men and women in this poll that want the outcome to be skewed. If the majority does not believe in Tru Start I have no problem getting off my soap box and play with the rules that are given. This is just to see what people are interested in having for a tree. I highly doubt this poll will get NHRA's attention.

It may be difficult to wait 2 second for a slow car but the simple solution is - DON'T REDLIGHT - then this rule never applies - no matter what your opponent does.
It will make it a little harder to save HP since you will not know you can let off and run .040 under. Our input is - we do not care - it will not effect how we race or our dial in. I doubt it would effect us on 1 out of 100 runs. Don't red light - problem solved. This is trying to make a rule that covers when both drivers screw up which one should win ... maybe neither? Ron

Ever since the flagman all changes have been to make it fair for Everyone, this new idea is just anouther step in the evolution of the sport. As soon as the last man leaves we know who the winner is, if both red light.
