Good Morning!
My dad and I pulled into the track yesterday afternoon and got setup. The rest of the family will join us as the weekend progresses. For anyone heading out here, there will even be a Harry Holton sighting tomorrow. Come on over and say hello. On tap today is tech and test 'n tune. I made one run about 45 minutes ago and it showed 67 deg, 61%, 29.93", .418 VP, and 1194' DA. I anticipate ceding some of the reporting duties to my mom once she gets up here, but if anyone has any special requests in terms of pictures, let me know and I'll do what I can. Schedule shows two hits on Friday and Saturday both with eliminations on Sunday morning. Stay tuned!

Quite a few cars on the property, including some I haven't seen in a while. Michael Ogburn has all 3 West Coast Hemi cars here, Wayne Ramos has his AH car here, and a new Sarmento (sp?) built '68 Barracuda SS/AH belonging to Jim Luscutoff and driven by Alex Luscutoff is here as well. I can't remember the last time there were this many SS/AH cars at a race in D.7. Also of note was Dave Raybourn in an SS/CM Sunfire that looks VERY nice. I don't have independent recollection of it myself, but Dave tells me he ran the car in Comp 8-9 years ago.
It's a little warmer than it has been here the last couple of years. Hoping for some cooler weather in the morning. I'll post weather and qualifying sheets when I can.

Good luck Jared thanks for reporting "SS/AH belonging to Jim Luscutoff and driven by Alex Luscutoff" that's a name from the past I think Jim drove Lee Camerons Hemi in the 70's Jim Rau or Harry would know I remember Dave in the Chebby who is driving the Ogburn cars

Stock and SS have both made their first qualifying passes. Looks like we lost one stocker (at least) to engine failure. I was in the adjacent lane and had a front row seat.
Conditions when Stock ran were 69 deg, 51.2%, 29.89", .36 VP, and 1256'. Conditions shortly after SS ran are 71.1 deg, 50.5%, 29.89", .39 VP, and 1422' with a 3-5 mph cross/tail wind. I'll try and get pics of the Luscutoff car. It's a knockout! I love black cars!

Jared,
Good luck to you this weekend, say hello to your mom for me. Are the Loge's in attendance this weekend?

Hey Jared, How about posting the qualifying sheets??? Get your mom out of the kitchen and busy reporting. We all would like to know how quick it is up there. I know you're all bagging, but at least we get an idea. Nice of you to keep us old buzzards informed
