Asked to split at Nat open and race for Wally. Original was 1000.00 runner up 200. He said no and I won. I don't see NHRA events being top heavy enough in Div and Nats to warrant a split. Last bracket race over new years was 3k , 600, 2- 125. The 4 guys running changed the split to help with the top heavy

Not really a "split" but extra money from the finalist to the semi finalist..aka...national event $500 for runnerup to $1000 winner That way if you are the one going to the final round you know you have a least one guy rooting for you to win.

In Bracket Racing we split a lot of times. Usually in the final, sometimes in the semis. In the big money races they sometimes work a deal out before the semis.
