I loved the Pintos, Vegas, 303 powered Rocket 88's, and Corvairs back in the IHRA day's. Three of the "old" IHRA Stock killers with "odd balls" were Ray Head in a 1960 impala 283 2bbl., Randall Campbell (a current NHRA runner) in his inline six nova wagon, and J.T. Allan in his 200" V6 Malibu. I know Randall and Ray both won IHRA Stock Championships, and I am pretty Sure J.T. Allen got a crown also. These guys cut a 00 light every run and you could see the tail light glow as they cross the finish line. Back then It was how you drove, not how fast you ran. I for one would love to see more of these car built. I miss the diversity that was present back in the day.
I remember catching J.T with the wrong pistons in his V-6. They were for another engine combo and had a much smaller dish C.C. volume at Bristol. He never came back and I heard he went boating. Must have embarrassed him pretty badly.....LOL
Randall and Ray always were straight shooters and were tough racers.

Correct. There were some HD-413's with two barrels in the Late-60's/Early-70's as well.

Nothing from 413 HD above block will interchange with passenger car engines...Heads and Manifolds are way taller/Different water pump arrangement too.

I know the heads, exhaust, and water pump are different...but I don't see why the intake wouldn't work unless the intake face angle is different from other RB engines?

413HD Heads are way taller........Never tried the manifold on passenger car engine but they appear different in position.

It has been over 10 years since I sold my last 413HD!

It does not show 413 2 Brl in class guide for any vehicle.

Dad bought a 67 New Yorker for parts, had the 440-2 barrel, closed chamber heads (915) with the small exhaust valve, small cam. I used those heads after putting in the 1.74 ex on my 383 in the Duster.

The only mopar 2 bbl. on a RB motor I've ever seen was on the 383 RB version. A two year deal for 59-60 Windsor.

Got me second guessing myself now, been 48 years. Did do some checking earlier and can't find a good reference to it.

Yes, GTX John mentioned the industrial versions.
