Sac 20? Where is this data coming from? I don’t think so. I have seen some pretty stout Da and Baro numbers there.

20 Ft, LOL
I just took a ride down it in the Rt. Lane on Google Earth and it shows 104-105 ft elevation from Starting line to Finish line.

The 20 ft could be accurate 30 meters is 98 ft it is listed every where as 18-20 ft read below.

GPS (Global Positioning System) was designed to find an object's latitude and longitude, and is generally accurate to about 10 meters for that purpose. It can also be used to locate an object's elevation above sea level, but is only accurate to about 30 meters for that purpose.

Nope......

Ever been to Sac??

Sac is very fast except in the summer when it's 100 degrees out and then it is just fast. Years ago they had a Divisional meet at Phoenix the week before the WinterNations. That would be a great race at that time of year in Sac because we have tested at Sac with DA's of -800 feet. The best part is that at N/O there no AHFS

Now Boise is a different issue...

Tri-State in Earlville was built that way on purpose

Exactly Bob. I just put in a call to the folks who ran it for years. Should have an answer. I’ve been in many finals there (44 years)and funny the downhill number never came up?
Ok as I’m finishing typing , just got off the phone. Nope it’s not downhill.

Fastlane,
Not sure where you got that or how dated that info is. Both of my airplanes are equipped with GPS. I can do GPS precision approaches and fly right to the runway. The elevations are always spot on. I trust my life to the accuracy of both my Garmin 650 and 1000.
Sacramento Mather (MHR) airport is located less than 2 miles north the race track. The airport elevation on Sky Vector charts is listed as 98 feet elevation..
My Google Pro, on this computer, just now shows the runway 4L-22R as 95-98 ft elevation end to end.
The Google Earth Pro is still showing the track starting line to finish line 104-105 feet with the far end of the shut down at 125 ft elevation.

Not downhill, but we get decent to good air and
Tail wing at times. Also can b headwind.
Last year went 11:12 , same set up went 11:19 at Sonoma national for what its worth.

Hoping we get a good turnout and some folks try and set records, always makes it more 🤔!

Hope to see u there!
