Eliminations Question

Driver receives a red light foul start and the opposing driver is discovered to be in violation of technical rules (including weight, engine displacement, mechanical limitations, of fuel check).
-Driver in violation of technical infraction will be disqualified -driver committing the foul start will be reinstated.

First or worst. As long as the red lighting car waited at the scales to verify that the other car was legal, I would expect that the red lighting car is reinstated., it the red lighting car went back to the pits, it leaves a little uncertainty from my view.

This is why if I lose a round I will pull over near the scales and watch to see if the driver that beat me passes weight check

We were always told to not wait at scales on any loosing run many times. Officials always said they would come get us if needed to scale and fuel check.
