[QUOTE=Robin Lawrence;678741]I think that is what Larry Deforest is running.

Robin, you are correct, Scott Burton also has a 428 powered stocker, and Gary Richard has a 428 stocker, and a 428 powered super stocker.

There are also a 363 , and a 427 windsor combinations.

Isn't there also a 429" Windsor with a small bore and big stroke to take advantage of the allowable overbore which the big bore ones can't do?

Yes, Cook Bros car that Barton drives is a 429 and Cody Herron, Evan Smith just did a video with Cody's car a couple weeks back.

Either a 67 Fairlane or a 73 Mustang Anyone have any thoughts or who is the go to? I know Dick Lux ran this in his Comet (rip) looks like the Halls put one in their 68 mustang.
Thanks for any help.
I run 352 in 2010 mustang

Bob Alexander from Clinton Illinois is building one as well. While not really a "Windsor" in my opinion since it has canted valve heads similar to the Cleveland engine family.

I worked with Gary Summers on his Super Stocker with that engine.
